Dianeyra "Dian Zapata J" Zapata Jimenez join the FMU Volleyball team in fall 2026.

A native to Cancun, Mexico, Zapata Jimenez previously attended Calumet College of St. Joseph & Briar Cliff University. She graduated from La Salle Cancún in 2023, where she played volleyball for two years and earned multiple accolades, including; 2022 MVP, three-time winners of indoor and beach volleyball collegiate competition.

Zapata Jimenez joined FMU because of location and opportunities to grow, atmosphere feels like a connection to her, and FMU seemed to be a great opportunity for her to grow in all aspects. Her favorite part about FMU is the new experience and adventure ahead, location and atmosphere feels so amazing.
