Carolina Alonso joined the FMU Volleyball team in fall 2025.

A native to Dallas, Texas, Alonso previously attended Cedar Valley College for two years. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 2023, where she played on the volleyball team, and was named MVP her junior year, Honorable mention her senior year, and earned all academic honors all four years.

Alonso chose FMU because she loves the culture here and she wants to be around around people who are here to win, from the staff to the players. Her favorite part about FMU is being around people of her culture and different cultures as well.
